News Byte: President Foley Named Among Top Chief Officers

Herald Community Newspapers has named 91社区 President Hank Foley, Ph.D., as one of their Herald 2023 Top Chief Officers of Long Island. The award recognizes impactful and visionary leaders, highlighting and celebrating the critical role that chief officers play in shaping the success and future of their organizations and the Long Island economy.

President Foley is one of seven university presidents awarded in the Education category and 56 professionals honored at the Herald 2023 Top Chief Officers Awards Gala hosted at the Heritage Club at Bethpage on November 29. 

鈥淩ecognizing business leaders on Long Island is not just about acknowledging their successes. It鈥檚 about celebrating the driving force behind our local economy, and the innovation that shapes our community鈥檚 future,鈥 says Amy Amato, executive director of Herald鈥檚 events division. 鈥淲e are thrilled to honor these individuals who have served as architects of the Long Island economy.鈥

Earlier this year, President Foley was also named to聽City & State New York鈥檚聽Higher Education Power 100聽list and to聽笔辞濒颈迟颈肠蝉狈驰鈥檚聽Power Players in Education聽for his commitment to excellence in higher education.
