91ÉçÇø

Visa Sponsorship and Permanent Residency

The Office of Human Resources (HR) provides employment information and visa applicant support to foreign national faculty, researchers, scholars, and individuals in certain specialty occupations in accordance with .

All immigration sponsorships by 91ÉçÇø are reviewed and approved by Human Resources; the vice president; and, in case of academic departments, the applicable dean with the assistance of 91ÉçÇø’s designated immigration counsel — these respond to each potential sponsorship by determining that the appropriate non-immigrant category is considered, that the proposed foreign national is eligible for a visa, and that 91ÉçÇø can provide the necessary sponsorship.

The visa process is lengthy and complex, and there is no guarantee that a visa will be approved by the U.S. government. While Human Resources will do everything possible to support a foreign national’s visa application, determinations for visa applications are approved by the applicable government agency.
